Men marry bitches because nice good looking girls like you don't give us the time of day :) Ya'll are either holding out for the perfect man of your dreams or too untrusting/scared/uninterested in the nice guys.
I've read the other book by the author, "Why Men Love Bitches", which was quite an interesting read. I think a more accurate title of that book should have been "What nice girls do to annoy the heck out of guys". It did have some a few sneaky tactics on how to keep the guy on his toes by "playing with his mind" which left me with mixed feelings. Will give this book a try to see if it is more of the same or has more tactics.
I think the point of many of these comes down to the maxim "Always leave them wanting more". Was that PT Barnum or WC Fields or maybe even Mae West? The point is to not be too available, too eager, too anything. Hard to put in practice sometimes.
I wonder if this is akin to the phenomenon of women going for the "bad boys". It seems that boring qualities like "nice" and "sincere" and "not suicidal" are not very dateable. Marryable, yes, but not dateable. They always seem to get trumped by "rude" and "thoughtless" and "very hot in a (unisex) skanky sort of way". Go figure.

It's very complicated, but think moths and flames, and add sex.
