YOU KNOW IT'S A BAD START TO THE WEEK WHEN.....
...you respond to your assistant's morning greeting by bursting into tears.....................and then blog about it for everyone---family, friends, strangers, colleagues, frienemies---to read.
Is it the weather and the changing seasons... the couples holding hands walking down the sidewalks in the brisk October air... the cues from nature that life is fast passing you by while you are still alone... or something totally different?
I dunno, you guys. I'm an emotional person, as most of everyone who's acquainted with me in real life knows, so me bursting into tears out of the blue isn't an odd thing (this one time, my boss was telling me about this really emotional documentary she'd watched on this guy who's book we're publishing in the winter and I started crying right there, in my office. I couldn't help myself). I think it was a combination of things, really: low blood sugar from fasting, pms (yah, I said it), and a couple of other things (I swear, neither is marriage or boy related) that I'd rather not talk about at the moment. I think, ultimately, I'm just tired and may be pushing myself a bit too hard. I feel a whole lot better now, though. Thanks for caring.
it happens everytime the weather changes for me. i get really sad in the fall/winter. i'm pretty sure that isn't the reason for the way you're feeling but ...well...eh...
