SHARING ETHNICITIES
Should the fact that two people have spouses/significant others of the same ethnicity ever be a conversation starter or am I still drinking this kool-aid?

You're just justifiably concerned 1)you will wake one day realising you married a heathen and will burn and 2) your kids will be half-breeds. Good luck.

Actually, after a little bit of thought, I disagree.
Maybe if it's an unusual (for this country) ethnicity?: "My wife is a Lapp." "OMG, my boyfriend is a Lapp, too."
