Pakistani folks have mentioned to me, in passing, the carcinogenic properties of the delectable palate pleaser's ingredients, but it took the following abstract to scare the shit out of me:

not a surprise as paan has so many unknowns thrown into it.....and sometimes a real task to chew and swallow it....

wait.. theres meetha paan and then paan paan with tobacco and those rock things... which is what can kill you if your gallbladder blows up.
im so not paki - i hate mangos, mithai, sonf and not into paan but i so wanna try it just so i can spit the juice out in a shirt pocket.(apparently thats what you do with the juice) just not MY shirt pocket.. someone else's shirt pocket.
