MY FIRST CRUSH...

Contrary to popular belief, my first crush was not Bobby, the boy who teased me to tears on a daily basis in kindergarten. According to my mother, my first crush was a middle-aged, overweight and bald Indian actor who played the villain role in several Bollywood movies in the early '80s. My mom thinks his name might have been "Seti" or "Shetty"; I used to tell everyone that I would marry him someday. Now, I only see the vague outlines of a rotund belly and the gleaming, globular head of a man standing against a clear blue sky on the roof of a house in an Indian village. But I can't make out a face. Sigh.
I'd be forever grateful to anyone who has more information about my first crush.

Ok SabilaK, do not worry for I am here. I will figure it out for you. My name is Dr. S. Bollywood. Miss Khan told me about you. I have about 3 people im my mind that fit that description. However, I must say I am worried for you if it is who I think it is :S

The most popular ones I have come up with so far, and Im pretty sure you will say no to them all...I did try scan my brain for a villain with the name "setti" "sethi" or "shetty" but nothing came to mind.

1. Prem Chopra (blad headed sometimes big gutted)

2. Amjad Khan (Gabbar Singh from Sholay)

3. Kader Khan (played mostly villain roles and has always been fat)

4. Amrish Puri (blad headed always..but has been pretty fit)

Now was your crush always bald and fat? and was he dark or fair complexioned? Did he have a huge moustache?

WAIT!! I may have found him. His name could be Ram Sethi or Nitin Sethi. I dont know what they look like cos I cant find a picture of them. BUT...they were villains in the 70's and 80's. This may be your bet hun. I will work on it some more. This is my personal matter now!

Wow, Sarvat you are a doctor of Bollywood Studies. I am impressed. I think this dude was one of the more obscure actors of his day. Once we've figured out who he is, we'll have to tackle that bigger question of what the hell was I on as a 3-4 year old.
