NERDY LOVE
Can nerds and cool kids find love with each other, let alone be in the same room together?
Call me a cynic, but I think not.
I've long disliked cool kids: fraternity rushing, cheerleading, football playing, alcohol poisoned, most-likely-to-be-arrested-for-insider-trading, Umbro shorts wearing, clique-following punks who have about as much culture as a Chile's Restaurant.
And, we're not getting along anytime soon, soooo it's only natural for nerds to eventually gravitate towards one another in nerdy love (siiiigh---insert dreamy-eyed emoticon HERE!).
What nerdy traits do you look for in a future mate? Or am I completely off mark and you guys are ACTUALLY INTO the cool fools???

Maybe it’s the allergy to the felines that in someway is connected with the episode of your nose lol ok ok I just shot from the hip on that one, but who knows. But seriously a friend of mine had a problem with her ear and they found out that, well - she being extra piercey, had actually pinched one of her nerve endings or something of the sort. Might wanna give that a look up.
Its all relative… smart people like smart people to talk to. Or you feel you have just killed time... rich people think, the rich are what they shud be with to get richer, in-fact I over heard some guys saying "Stay Rich" instead of a simple bye:)lool... the poor say well we are poor so lets be like this nothing gonna change anyhoo... the physically challenged might wanna hang out with the physically challenged so as to feel a bit comfy... the pretty ones with the pretty ones...and the list goes on. Don’t be frightened:) lol it’s called "social programming"…
Now, comes the fact of the “NERD”. Yes nerds are said to read a lot and are more intellectual in fields of science or math. and are branded more smarter than the average joe. But I don’t think that would make them any less cooler. Its again a perspective of someones personal priorities rather. Hmmm should I read or should I read …OR should I go and interact with people and may be actually use the theory of geometry in a game of pool, which could actually go pretty well your way once you have got the hang of it. btw 'NERDs' don’t really do too well on the "interact with people" part but know that right? :) and thus termed the society of NERDS.. now being nerdy or being cool has nothing to do with each other. of course all this is in my own opinion but I feel its two different aspects of ones personality that could go very well together once actually looked into.
Seeing your profile you are way off the mark on finding your self...and I truly don’t blame ya. Sigmund Frued says he tried his whole life to find what women want and didnt:) I think you are just a confused little over protected brat who needs to find the balance she seeks :P
And to sum it up you cynical or not I think they mix pretty damn well… it simply put - something that most people don’t realize, but animal-instinctually is aware: - Attraction aint a choice. so now for the question at hand hmmm: SHE SHOULD BE SUPER INTELECTUAL and ATTRACTIVE
You just called me a brat.
Reveal yourself!
Oh, and you're not smart, so you couldn't possibly be a nerd. Goodbye.
no i am not a nerd.
check your emails
Is it a serious affront to nerd-dom, to be a nerd in cool persons clothing?
John, I have a confession to make: I'm a nerd in cool kid clothes...
Nerdiness is a state of mind.
Just for the record, I don't have any Umbros in my wardrobe.
Here is my "criteria" for the record. Which I have to admit is highly fluid.
Actually I won't bother with the obvious stuff. However given that I am attracted to her, she is active, and great conversation...any woman who agrees to have the Imperial March played at our wedding by a full orchestra will recieve a proposal immediately!
"I have a confession to make: I'm a nerd in cool kid clothes...

Finally ! now that's more like it! And I didn’t need to be nerdy to figure that out :P ...
Anyhoo any gurl that gets me gut-level/instinctively gaga-gogo (emotional reaction) about her is a keeper.
Less of a nerd, far more of a dork (the difference? I don't know). Dorkiness/nerdiness traits I look for in a mate:
-enjoys comic books (but doesn't dress in all black and pretends to be a vampire)
-can tell you when and where the Magnetic Feilds are playing as well as the All Girl Summer Fun Band, and still likes Modest Mouse even though now they've been on MTV.
-Has a secret crush on Wes Anderson.
I'll stop there as I feel I've gone on too long already. Again, this isn't so Nerdy (ala Napolean Dynamite) and maybe just dorky (ala Justin Long).
