THE NERD OF ALL NERDS

...to my friends/coworkers who didn't know me in high school and weren't buying that I was a bona fide nerd/geek and have now seen the lovely pics on friendster: I told you so.

Um, did anyone else imagine that if SK really was the uber-geek she claimed to have been in high school, all she must have had to do to transform herself into her present day hottie-badass-self would have been simply just to lose the glasses, overalls, and ponytail, and put on some makeup and a smokin' dress (yes, EXACTLY like in all the teenie-bopper films involving the solitary dorky girl and the high school stud who has bet his jackass friends that he can transform her, against all odds, into Prom Queen - e.g. "She's All That")???

Man, was I wrong. Only Gazoob, your imaginary-dwarf boyfriend could have loved you with that haircut and those glasses.

For those of you who have not seen the "before" and "after" pics, you truly have no idea just how much REVENGE this nerd really has gotten. Seriously.

i still can't stop looking at that picture of you with coke bottle glasses.

what were you thinking?!

did you used to have numchuck and computer hacking skills and frequently use the term: "freakin' idiot!" by any chance?

I can hardly believe that chick/dude (because, really, I barely even look like a girl) in the (especially first) pic is me. M, I heart that you thought my only problems in my high school were glasses and overalls. AA, I did often play with my bro's numchucks and ninja stars.

I think all of this just gives me depth and perspective...or something. You guys, that tubby little girl was awesome!
